Health
To meet our students’ health needs, we have a nurse experienced in first aid on-site. Our infirmary is open during school hours every day. All Near East Yeniboğaziçi Preschool students are covered by a special, free-of-charge insurance policy. The coverage list and information booklet about Near East Life Youth Health Insurance will be shared with parents after the school opens.

Safety
The safety of the educational environment is essential for ensuring our students’ well-being. Parents are expected to hand over their children to the on-duty teacher at the school entrance and pick them up from the same teacher at the end of the day. The waiting area where the child will be handed over is shared with parents via WhatsApp groups. Visitors are directed by the security guard at the school entrance to the secretary, where their ID information is taken and a visitor record is created.

Nutrition
Our school menus are prepared under the supervision of a dietitian, considering the developmental needs of our students. The menu details are shared weekly with parents through agendas. Our students go to the cafeteria with their teachers, together with their classmates. All our students are encouraged to practice healthy and balanced eating during meals and class discussions. Special meals are provided for students with food allergies, with their details being closely monitored. It is the responsibility of the parents to inform the school about allergies. For students with food allergies, a doctor’s report and a list of allergy-triggering foods must be shared with the school administration.

Transportation
Our students are placed on buses according to their age and routes. Buses arrive at school according to the morning entry time. After school, students reach their homes via buses that depart immediately after lessons end. Transportation registration will continue until Friday, September 6. Students whose registration is not completed will not be able to benefit from this service.

All registered students are provided with a uniform set at the beginning of each academic year. This set includes the following items:

Parents who wish to purchase additional items outside the provided sets can obtain them from the Near East Primary School store or IKAS Supermarket.
